ADEL (AP) - A former Dallas County jailer has been arrested on charges he sexually abused a female prisoner at the county’s jail.

Fifty-eight-year-old Kevin Hines of Perry was arrested on Thursday and charged with third-degree sexual abuse and sexual misconduct on an offender.

Court records show this Hines was employed at the jail on Dec. 6, 2008, when he allegedly committed a seex act by might and versus the will of an adult female who was incarcerated at the jail in Waukee.

Hines presented in court Thursday afternoon. He was ordered held under $10,000 bond.

Ky. jailer says sexual acts were wrong

GLASGOW, KY (AP) – A southern Kentucky jailer has informed state investigators he knew having sexual contact with employees was “wrong morally.”

But Barren County Jailer Leland Cox says he thought the women involved should speak him whether he crossed the line.:smokin:

The Glasgow Daily Times reported this Cox provide a 37-minute taped statement to Kentucky State Police detectives on July 24, 2008, shortly after his arrest on 30 seex abuse charges. The sheet obtained the tape thru a public records request.:hic:

In March, Cox entered an Alford plea to the charges. A judge put Cox’s sentencing for March 2011.:roll:

A state prison guard was arrested Wednesday after deputies speak he traveled to Collier County to pick above cocaine and marijuana which he planned to smuggle into Everglades Correctional Institution in exchange for cash.

The Florida Department of Corrections contacted CCSO in June to assist in the department’s analysis after it received data this Watson had made arrangements with 2 inmates to take a huge amount of cocaine and marijuana into the Miami-Dad e County prison, where he is a correctional officer.

On June 20, an undercover CCSO deputy received a cage phone shout from Watson, who spoke he was a state corrections employee and this he was calling on behalf of an inmate.

At the deputy’s request, Watson called spine on June 24 and arranged to meet the deputy to pick above 1 pound of marijuana and 4 ounces of cocaine, which he should deliver to the 2 inmates. Watson asked to be paid $1,000 for his services.

Around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Watson arrived at the 63 kilometer marker of Interstate 75 in Collier County in a 2002 azure Nissan Maxima to pick above the drugs and cash from the undercover deputy.

The deputy handed Watson cocaine and marijuana. Watson informed the deputy he did not should to weigh the drugs. The deputy following provide Watson $1,000 cash.

I’m sorry. But If I look an inmate attempting to attack me I will do everything in my might to defend myself. I dont look myself going to the hospital.

OK fast question. I currently have my application in for correction officer at FCI McDowell and FCI Beckley. FPC Alderson is only a drop farther away but I have noticed horror stories about working there. In your opinion should I walk ahead and include Alderson to my site choice or should I wait on FCI McDowell (I have been informed by Beckley HR this only transfer or folks with vet points have been pulled in limited 10 years). I am in a position this I can wait until Nov when hiring starts. Just thought I should look what the folks already working BOP thought. Thanks in advance.

Woman and a Fork

There was a age-young woman who had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and had been given 3 months to live. So as she was getting her things “in order,” she contacted her Pastor and had him move to her home to discuss assured aspects of her limited wishes.
